Uniexpress selects pioneer software
UK-based international freight forwarding company Uniexpress has become the largest customer of the innovative technology platform Forward Solutions.
The Forward Vision software allows freight management companies to closely track the real-time progress of customer shipments, whether in the air, on the road or across the sea. The customised specialist software provides clearer end-to-end supply chain analytics which enable freight management companies to improve the planning and management of their cargo flows.
Forward Vision continues to be refined, based upon customer feedback, to become a one-stop shop for customers who require in-depth statistics to help keep consignments on track. Uniexpress was established over 35 years ago. The privately owned company operates nine locations in UK.
Uniexpress specialises in providing a personal service, including arranging shipments by sea, air and road. It also offers specialist sea freight services including full container load (FCL), less than container load (LCL/groupage), break bulk and out of gauge shipments. (ben)
