UK forwarder partners with German haulier
UK-based Davies Turner is strengthening its German logistics presence with a new partner - Streck Transport. The new exclusive partnership is important for Davies Turner as it further increases its portfolio of scheduled overland trailer services with Germany, the British haulier said.
The two companies now operate daily overland trailer services between the state of Baden-Württemberg in southwest Germany and the UK, initially direct into Davies Turner's regional distribution hubs at Dartford and Coleshill. Streck Transport employs 1,200 staff and has a network covering Germany. Davies Turner provides a complete range of European groupage, part load and full load trailer services with dedicated express transit and super-express options. (ben)
