UK forwarder invests heavily in fleet expansion
In 2018, one of the UK’s major multimodal and logistics organisations ploughed over GBP 1 million (EUR 1.38 million) into its vehicle fleet.
Sussex-based Kingscote Rojay (KRL), a Palletways member, invested in a mixture of 18 t, 12 t and 7.5 t vehicles, all of which are euro 6 compliant and meet the latest emission requirements. The company also invested in four Scania 44 t tractor units to support its fleet. KRL, which runs Palletways services from its UK depots in Frome and Telford, joined the network in 2013.
The Palletways Group comprises 450+ depots and 20 hub operations across 20 European countries, including the UK. (ben)
