UK forwarder gets two HGVs with multi lock
Bristol (UK)-based Scrivin Logistics is adding two Krone Profi Liner trailers to its HGV fleet to be used for its expansion in the European market. The curtainsiders come with the Krone patented Multi Lock side rave which is designed to reduce the risk of loads becoming detached during transit.
This is important for Scrivin, as it carries cargoes ranging in size and scale – from arcade machines for events and conferences to high value aircraft parts, the forwarder said.
The Multi Lock system features up to 126 strapping points, creating more than 3,000 options for securing the load; each of these strapping points has a 2 t capacity, giving a maximum permissible load of 8 t over a 1 m length. (ben)
