TX Logistik expands intermodal services
As of 22 February 2023, TX Logistik, an affiliate of FS Italiane (Italy’s state railways), will raise the number of weekly round trips on the route between Rostock (Germany) and Verona (Italy) from four to six. TX Logistik had increased the number of trains to Italy on other routes already in the first weeks of this year.
The services between Leipzig (Germany) and Sommacampagna-Sona west of Verona have been expanded to ten round trips per week. There will also be more intermodal trains from Lübeck to northern Italy: the provider has added an eighth round trip to the service between the Baltic Rail Gate in the Hanseatic city and the Quadrante Europa terminal in Verona.
For the second Lübeck connection to the Milan metropolitan region, the number of round trips has been increased by two to four. (ben)
