Two intermodal lanes launched
Cargobeamer is expanding its route network. As from June 2021, the Leipzig (Germany)-based logistics service provider will add new intermodal rail services between Duisburg (Germany) and Poznan (Poland) and between Calais and Perpignan (France).
Three roundtrips per week are scheduled between the inland port of Duisburg in western Germany and Poznan. The French lane will start off with two roundtrips per week and by 5 July the frequency will increase to four weekly roundtrips.
The new route will be jointly operated by Cargobeamer and Duisport Group. Besides semi-trailers, Cargobeamer also enables the transport of P400-trailers, containers, bulk and frigo trailers as well as dangerous goods.
