Two hits in USA
In a double strike, DSV in USA has inked agreements to acquire the transport and logistics companies S&M Moving Systems West and Global Diversity Logistics.
The transactions are expected to be closed in April 2023, if all legal formalities are met. Headquartered in Phoenix and Chandler, Arizona, S&M Moving Systems West, founded in 1918, and Global Diversity Logistics are both run by the Todare family. A workforce of a total of 130 employees at eleven sites in Oregon and Arizona will be taken over.
These acquisitions will strengthen DSV's position within the semiconductor industry, align with its new Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport operations and support the group's cross-border services to Latin America. (ben)
