Two acquisitions in Finland
The Finland-based Logistikas Group, established in 1997, is acquiring the Piccolo Packing and Piccolo Solutions companies and thus expanding into the Vaasa region. Piccolo Solutions and Piccolo Packing provide in-house logistics, local storage and packaging services mainly in the Vaasa region.
The companies employ about 60 people and their customer base is particularly rooted in the technology industry, which also has significant cargo flows through the port of Rauma.
Their total net sales in 2020 were approximately EUR 7.5 million. The transaction is expected to take place in July 2021. Logistikas will finance the acquisition with loan financing and cash payments. (sh)
