Turkish Cargo big in South Korea
In the presence of airlines, handling agents and airport service providers operating across South Korea, Turkish Cargo was ranked first at "Cargo Airline of The Year group B’' level. The carrier scored the highest marks in the air cargo transport evaluation criteria.
The 3rd ICN Awards ceremony was held by Seoul Incheon airport (ICN), the global number 4 for freight traffic (2018: 2.95 million t, +1%).
The award’s major criteria are punctuality, transit shipment rate, security training records, special cargo rates, rate of increase in employment.
With export operations of 15,000 t and import operations of 10,000 t last year, South Korea was the country where Turkish Cargo achieved its highest tonnage and revenue level across the Asia - Far East region, following China and Hong Kong. (ah)
