Truck rental company changes ownership
The USA’s Penske Truck Leasing has agreed to acquire the assets of De Carolis Truck Rental. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including certain regulatory approvals. The parties anticipate closing the transaction on 17 December 2021.
De Carolis Truck Rental, founded 80 years ago, is a family-owned and operated company headquartered in Rochester NY (USA). The company provides truck leasing, rental, maintenance and repair services to the food processing and distribution, consumer distribution and freight hauling industries. It employs 175 people and maintains a fleet of 2,350 units. Penske, in turn, operates more than 350,000 vehicles. (ben)
