Truck manufacturer and energy supplier team up

Daf Trucks and Total Energies have signed an mou to develop zero-emission mobility solutions for road transport.

The partnership focuses on three initiatives. First, they firms will investigate opportunities for Daf customers to make use of the Total Energies charging network and roaming services.

Secondly, with a pilot project the partners will set the base to accelerate the development of ‘Megawatt Charging Systems’ (MCS) for the ultra-fast charging of electric trucks.

And thirdly, the partners plan to offer a range of energy solutions from Total Energies to supply low-carbon energy products and solutions to DAF’s manufacturing sites. (ben)
