Transuniverse finds agent in Portugal
The Belgian groupage specialist Transuniverse Forwarding has contracted Torrestir as its local agent in Portugal, effective 1 February 2024.
Transuniverse is already operating daily departures to Porto and Lisbon, making Portugal an important destination with an evolving market. The partnership with Torrestir will meet new customer demands for high departure frequencies and shorter delivery times.
Torrestir has an established network in the country and will provide its partner with additional IT and data sharing services. The Portuguese provder recently collaborated with Cargo Line in Germany and in more projects in Europe. This new partnership will see it working with Benelux markets through Transuniverse. As of 1 February, transit times to remote regions will be cut from seven days down to six. (mk)
