Transporting the rocket
The Swedish Space Corporation (SSC) is banking on Gebrüder Weiss for its logistical support. On Wednesday, 23 November 2022, the SSC's rocket lifted off from the Swedish Esrange base at 09.25 h, shooting into space at a speed of more than 6,500 km per hour. The test subjects then landed in an uninhabited area north of Esrange.
Stefan Krämer, project manager of the mission, is relieved about the successful outcome: “We had been working on this rocket launch for over two years. Ultimately, all partners contributed to the success of the mission." Gebrüder Weiss is a partner of SSC and transported the research equipment. (sh)
