Transferring an entire location
Shipper Luminator Technology Group has commissioned Harder Logistics to relocate its development and production site to Neu-Ulm, a distance of 12 km. Luminator Technology Group is an international manufacturer of digital information systems, video surveillance systems and lighting solutions for public transport.
"The extensive project includes the relocation of production and development facilities, numerous offices, the logistics area including IT and additional services," says Lothar Kniess, project manager at Harder Logistics.
The logistics company scheduled about four months for the move. By the end of December this year, everything should be rebuilt at the new site on Carl-Zeiss-Strasse. A total of about 80 truckloads are required. (sh)
