Tool to streamline container standards
The Digital Container Shipping Association (DCSA) has created the ‘Adopter Programme’, a tool that “enables stakeholders to streamline vendor selection when seeking standards-based, interoperable solutions.”
The DCSA is an Amsterdam-based not-for-profit group with nine member carriers that furthers the digitalisation of container shipping technology standards.
The programme enables stakeholders to publicly demonstrate successful adoption of DCSA standards and providers to validate the adoption of DCSA standards based on DCSA’s self-certification checklist. The first standards available in the programme are the DCSA standard for the bill of lading 1.0 and track and trace 1.2. Checklists for other DCSA standards suitable for the programme will be added in the future.
