TMS boosts Astre network efficiency
Astre Europe and the Alerce Group have entered into a strategic partnership to implement the Alertran transport management system (TMS) in Astre’s pallet system. This collaboration aims to improve efficiency, transparency and sustainability in Europe’s logistics network, as Astre has reported.
The AI-driven TMS will optimise route planning, enhance transport resource utilisation and provide real-time shipment tracking. “With Alertran our partners gain access to the technology to elevate both operational efficiency and sustainability,” said Ulf Tonne, Astre’s managing director for Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Pablo Pardo (pictured), CEO of the Alerce Group, emphasised the importance of the partnership in advancing digitalisation in European pallet logistics. (js)
