Third Boeing 767 BCF for Latam
Latam Group (“Latam”) received a new Boeing 767 BCF last weekend, the third of the four conversions to be delivered this year. The group also announced the incorporation of another Boeing 767F in September 2022. With this increase, Latam’s cargo subsidiaries will finish the year with 16 freighters.
Six Boeing 767 BCFs will be added to this fleet in 2023. All in all, it is planned that Latam’s freighter operators will have access to a dedicated cargo fleet of between 19 and 22 cargo aircraft by 2023.
The aircraft received last weekend will be primarily used to transport flowers from Colombia and Ecuador and will further strengthen and expand the network’s destinations in USA and Europe. (cj)
