Technology to improve efficiency
Atir Rail, a specialist for the rental and management of railcars for freight transport headquartered in France, will leverage Nexxiot technology for fleet visibility and efficiency. The aim is to improve fleet utilisation, maintenance scheduling, repairs, operational improvements and process automation.
Atir Rail's fleet of 4.5K wagons is made up of several railcar types including cars specially equipped for gas, chemicals, petroleum, slurry, powder and hoppers.
The Nexxiot Globehopper 3.0 hardware roll-out will begin in the next month and Atir Rail clients will be introduced to the new data-driven services over the coming year. (ben)
