TCA introduces new CEO

Australian airline Tasman Cargo Airlines (TCA) has appointed Kim Rasmussen as its new CEO. Before joining TCA, Rasmussen worked for DHL for 20 years. Since assuming his new role at the beginning of 2021, Rasmussen “has already set the wheels in motion for a number of key projects and initiatives.”

Headquartered at Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport in Mascot, a Sydney suburb, TCA provides air freight and charter services to Australia, the South-West Pacific and Asia.

The airline started as a line-haul supplier to DHL Express Group with a B727-200F in 1995. Since then it has increased its customer base and now operates a B763F. TCA will soon increase its portfolio to five services per week between Australia and Singapore. (amh)
