Takeover promotes tank business across eastern USA
TFI International has acquired Schilli, a company that specialises in the transportation of dry and liquid bulk and offers dedicated fleet solutions and other services throughout the Midwest, Southeast and Gulf Coast regions of the USA.
With more than 400 employees, Schilli operates 22 facilities and deploys a fleet of over 340 tractors, including independent contractors and more than 500 trailers. TFI International has a strong market position in specialised truckload in Canada, and the acquisition expands this line of business into the USA.
Schilli will operate as an independent business unit within TFI’s specialised truckload group. (ben)
