Swiss forwarder orders 100 biodiesel trucks
Schöni Transport ordered 100 trucks from Renault in one fell swoop at the Transport.ch trade fair that was held in Berne recently. The vehicles are EVO tractor units from the T series and equipped with bio-diesel engines.
The Lyon (France)-based the manufacturer will deliver the first batch before the summer holidays in 2022. The fleet of the family-run Swiss transport company with headquarters in Rothrist already contains a number of eco-friendly vehicles: 25 LNG trucks, ten biodiesel trucks and, since spring 2021, a hydrogen-powered truck.
