Surprise: a hazmat warehouse
Rinchem, a specialist in chemical supply chain management, has opened a custom-built hazmat warehouse on an area of 11,475 sqm in Surprise near Phoenix, Arizona. The site enables direct access to the local semiconductor industry.
Rinchem has been looking to expand its offering of hazmat warehouses internationally and has chosen this particular location for its next site due to the rapid growth and success of the semiconductor business in the Phoenix area.
In collaboration with Graycor, the contractor responsible for building this facility, Rinchem has added several elements to ensure a safe warehouse for chemical goods. A 9,569 sqm ISO container yard provides space for containerised storage. In addition, a dedicated gas pad enhances the safety of high purity chemicals. The hub also features temperature-controlled storage capacities and cleanroom services. (mk)
