Support for route planning
Germany’s federal office for goods transport (BAG) now regularly publishes map displays on its homepage showing forecasts of the number of vehicles liable to pay tolls on the federal motorway network for a typical weekday in the following months.
On these maps, previously unavailable information is derived from the statistical toll data and presented in a clear form. Transport companies and their customers can use the maps to plan their routes, the BAG said. (ben)
