Strengthening Asia region team
Columbia Shipmanagement (CSM), a global ship manager and maritime service provider founded in Cyprus, has appointed Demetris Chrysostomou as managing director of its Asia region. As a part of CSM’s growth ambition, he will work from the office in Singapore, having responsibility for group marketing and business development and Singapore’s office itself.
In his new role, Chrysostomou will oversee existing and future operations in China, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong, Philippines, Vietnam and Indonesia.
With the aim to strengthen its network, CSM has already opened offices in Saudi Arabia, Greece and Italy, and as Chrysostomou says, “the Asian market is a strong and important market for Columbia.” (amh)
