Strategic partnership at Milan MXP
Beta Trans and Airport Handling have become strategic partners to provide a full range of cargo services at Milan Malpensa (MXP). The joint offering includes high quality and safe ramp and cargo handling, warehousing and RFS. The tow companies’ recent investments include a 13,000 sqm warehouse, a 420 sqm CEIV certified pharma facility and hundreds of eco-efficient ground support equipment such as new cool dollies.
With 110,000 flights annually before the pandemic, Airport Handling, of which Dnata is the majority stakeholder, is a major air services provider at MXP and Linate airports. Founded in 1957, Beta Trans is a cargo services provider which is working with 100+ airlines and freight forwarders, handling 300,000+ t of cargo annually in its 100,000+ sqm facilities in Milan.
