Steering ferries through the Kattegat
At Stena Line, Elisabeth Lönne has taken over the role of trade director for the Danish market from Johan Edelman, who has assumed new responsibilities within the shipping company.
Lönne will oversee operations on the Danish routes Frederikshavn-Gothenburg and Grenaa-Halmstad, which are operated by the ferries “Stena Danica”, “Stena Jutlandica”, “Stena Vinga” and “Stena Nautica”. Lönne studied at Lund University and worked for Scandlines from 2005 to 2012.
Lönne held various management positions in the sales, marketing and service departments at Stena Line for several years. Most recently she served as travel commercial manager for the North Sea region, where she was based in London and managed the company’s sales business in the heavily contested and primarily cargo-oriented markets in the UK and the Netherlands.
