Spliethoff Group to operate over 140 vessels
Spliethoff Group has acquired a majority interest in the full-service maritime and offshore logistics provider Forest Wave, integrating it as the seventh business unit within its organisation starting 30 September 2024.
This acquisition increases Spliethoff's fleet to over 140 vessels, expanding its capabilities in sea transportation of bulk cargoes and yachts.
Forest Wave will maintain its identity and independent operations while benefiting from the new opportunities and synergies provided by the alliance with Spliethoff Group. This strategic move strengthens both companies' ability to improve their customer services. (pb)
