Speed Welshpool appoints new operations director
Speed Welshpool (Wales, UK) has appointed a new operations director. Chris Tandy joins the Powys-based business, which is a member of Palletways. Previous positions have seen Tandy managing UK trunking at City Link and running the UK van fleet at Sainsbury’s.
Commenting on his appointment, Tandy said: “Speed Welshpool, and in turn Palletways, are well-respected names in the logistics industry and I’m delighted to be on board. The company is a mature, established business with its sights firmly set on future growth. I’m keen to further develop its customer base, strengthen the Speed Welshpool brand and help take the business to new heights.”
