Skyteam Cargo elects chairman
Skyteam Cargo Alliance has appointed Omar Hariri (right, together with ITJ Editor Andreas Haug), currently CEO of both Saudi Airlines’ cargo company Saudia Cargo and the Saudi Arabian Logistics Company (SAL), as new chairman of its executive board.
The executive board of the alliance, which unites top of executives of the group's 12-member cargo airlines, endorsed Hariri’s new role at its latest meeting. Hariri will succeed Shawn Cole, VP cargo of Delta Airlines, who served on the board for three years.
In February 2018 Hariri became CEO of Saudia Cargo. Now, he joins the alliance, which celebrated its 20th anniversary in September 2020, bringing his experience in freight and logistics management, acquired from his varied roles at DHL Express and Fedex Express. (amh)
