Simplifying EU NCTS5 at Frankfurt airport

Air cargo IT specialist Allivate, a joint venture between Fraport and Dakosy, has introduced ‘Easy Transit’ in its ‘Fair@Link’ cargo community system at Frankfurt airport.

The solution automates key steps in the EU NCTS5 transit procedure, reducing manual data entry and streamlining processes for forwarders. With stricter customs requirements now in place, the tool compiles all necessary information automatically when users upload AWB numbers to ‘Fair@Link’.

When opening the transit procedure in customs software, only driver, truck and seal details need to be added. The service is already available in Dakosy’s ‘Zodiak’ customs software, with further integrations planned. Two major forwarders have already implemented it. (ah)
