Silk Way West turns ten this month
Baku (Azerbaijan)-based Silk Way West Airlines, a member of the Silk Way Group, is celebrating its tenth anniversary. The inaugural Silk Way West Airlines cargo flight was operated by a Boeing 747-400F on the Baku - Frankfurt-Hahn (Germany) route in July 2012. The carrier currently employs more than 1,000 professionals.
“Today, we celebrate ten years of growth and success at Silk Way West Airlines. I am very proud of all that the airline has achieved in such a short time. To all our loyal customers and partners, I would like to express my sincerest gratitude. I trust we will continue to fly even higher and faster in the future,” said Silk Way West Airlines president Wolfgang Meier. (cj)
