Siemens India integrates systems with Mumbai ACS
Siemens India has integrated its systems in order to gain real-time visibility of its shipment movement with standard milestone tracking capabilities along with other useful information from the air cargo community system (ACS) framework at Mumbai International Airport (photo).
The framework called GMAX was delivered to Siemens by Kale in a record time, thereby ensuring time critical functioning during the uncertain times of the Covid-19 pandemic.
With GMAX, Siemens, as one of India’s major importers through air cargo, can focus on automating and digitalising business processes and receive real-time updates on cargo movement within its air cargo import ecosystem. Moreover, verification and validation of documents make the framework more viable for the importing community. (ah)
