SGL: another office in France
The Denmark-headquartered logistics company has opened a new office in Dunkirk, France. It is the third office to be launched by Scan Global Logistics in this country, and part of a programme to establish a centre of expertise for industrial projects in Northern France.
The expansion follows the recent opening in Romania, and the freight forwarder is reportedly planning to add other countries to its growing footprint soon.
Dunkirk Port is one of France's largest commercial ports along the English Channel, the world's busiest international seaway. The port's strategic location in proximity to Holland and the Belgian ports of Zeebrugge and Antwerp will give customers access to regional, French and Northern European markets, SGL adds.
