SF Airlines adds 54th freighter and plans New York service
The private Chinese carrier, SF Airlines, has introduced a third plane to its fleet this year. The unit is the airline’s eighth B767-300BCF and its 54th full freighter overall. SF Airlines now plans to step up its transport services for perishable goods such as fresh fruit and hairy crabs next summer.
In addition, the company wants to launch a transpacific route between its hub in Hangzhou and New York in September. An application for a thrice-weekly B747-400F-F service has already been submitted to the US department of transportation. (ah)
