Seven trucks added to Asian fleet
Geodis has taken delivery of seven Mercedes-Benz Actros tractor units. The leased vehicles will complement the haulier's fleet in the Asia-Pacific Region. The haulier has added service destinations in Vietnam to its network of full and partial load services linking Singapore with Malaysia and Thailand.
The network will eventually connect with Chinese markets on a day-definite, door-to-door basis delivering a road transport alternative to the more costly air and slower ocean options.
The new tractor units feature safety and security technology including active brake assist, lane keeping assist and mirror cam in place of a conventional rear-view mirror. (ben)
