Second award for GAC Dubai
For the second consecutive year, GAC Dubai has won the FMCG logistics provider of the year award at the logistics and transport awards. The accolade recognises the company’s continuing excellence and innovation in keeping up with growing demand for the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector covering food & beverages, retail and more.
Neil McMaster, general manager of contract logistics for GAC Dubai, took to the stage at the award ceremony held at Sofitel the Palm in Dubai (UAE) to accept the honour. “Once again, we are delighted that our efforts and initiatives to meet the needs for speed and accuracy of fast-moving industries like food and beverages have been recognised,” he says.
Its flagship distribution centre has over 54,000 sqm of warehousing space dedicated to food & beverage and other FMCG cargo as well as 1,800 sqm of purpose-built food grade and general value-added services facilities. (mw)
