Sasha Goodman wins AfA award
Sasha Goodman (centre), chief administrative officer (CAO), Rock-it Global, was honoured with the Airforwarders Association (AfA) Jim Foster lifetime achievement award at the Air Cargo 2023 event in Nashville, Tennessee.
The award was presented by Brandon Fried (left), executive director, AfA and Kirk McCann (right), chairman, AfA board. It recognises Goodman’s career in air cargo as well as her 12 years of service on the AfA Board of directors, and her championing of women in air cargo.
Goodman has spent over 25 years at Rock-it, starting as vice president sales and being appointed CAO in 2020. She is an advocate for gender diversity in the air cargo industry and chaired a panel at the Air Cargo event, focused on supporting the professional development of women in company structures. (cj)
