Samskip introduces new way forward
By integrating TransFollow's digital consignment note solution, the Rotterdam-headquartered multimodal operator is taking the next step in its programme to optimise its shippers' supply chains.
The new digital solution visualises the current status of the consignment note. Additionally, shippers automatically receive the e-CMR via their account and directly into their mailbox, simply by providing email addresses of the required recipients of the e-CMR.
The innovative software upgrades the shippers' supply chain to a supply network, in which everyone has access to the same information at the same time, Samskip said. (ben)
