Sales revenue reaches new record
Traton in Germany delivered a good performance in 2022 in a challenging environment and lifted its sales revenue by almost a third year-on-year from EUR 30.6 billion to over EUR 40 billion for the first time.
The increase in sales revenue was attributed to higher unit sales of new vehicles as a result of the Navistar integration, a positive market and product mix, good price realisation, and strong growth in the vehicle services business.
Excluding Navistar, sales revenue would have been up 10% year-on-year. Traton is optimistic for 2023: The group expects a further growth with both unit sales and sales revenue to rise between 5% and 15%. (ben)
