Sale of Sheppard to Bendix concluded
In the USA, ZF Friedrichshafen has concluded the sale of Sheppard to Bendix for the price of USD 149.5 million. Sheppard is a major provider of steering technology for commercial vehicles. Bendix is an indirect subsidiary of Knorr-Bremse, which produces braking systems for rail and commercial vehicles.
The planned sale was announced already back in January this year. The sale was carried out after the US ministry of justice had approved ZF's purchase of Wabco and after Columbia's district court had accepted the compromise agreement. (ben)
