Ruscon starts India - Russia overland service
With the new regular direct transport service, Delo Group’s affiliate Ruscon will deliver prefabricated cargo in containers from the Indian port of Nava Sheva near Mumbai to the Russian terminal in Novorossiysk in the Black Sea region.
Ruscon will then distribute the consignments at its own warehouse for de-consolidation and dispatch them to the final recipients by rail or road. If necessary, the provider will also handle customs clearance.
Transit time between India and Russia is 20-25 days. The service will operate four times a month and transport a wide range of goods with a minimum consignment of one kilogramme. The first shipment is scheduled for June this year. (ben)
