Rotterdam Short Sea Terminals’ new CEO
Netherlands-based hub for short sea shipping Rotterdam Short Sea Terminals has appointed Arno Storm as its new CEO, effective 15 August 2021. Founded in 1997, strategically located, Rotterdam Short Sea Terminals operates in western and southern Europe, North Africa and Scandinavia.
Storm has worked at APM Terminals for the past nine years, holding senior executive positions within operations and HSSE in Rotterdam and Bahrain.
Most recently, Storm was APM Terminals’ COO in Rotterdam. Prior to that, he spent 17 years with the Royal Netherlands Army. There, before rising to the rank of major, he completed missions in Iraq, Afghanistan and Bosnia Herzegovina. (amh)
