Roofing ceremony in Roermond
It's an investment from Singapore in Europe. Frasers Park in the Roerstreek-Noord industrial park in Roermond, the Netherlands, held its roofing ceremony recently.
Frasers Property Industrial, which acquired the 50,000 sqm site of in November 2020, is a business unit of Singapore Exchange (SGX)-listed Frasers Property that has approximately 1.2 million sqm of existing portfolio.
The developer is building a distribution centre in Roermond with about 33,000 sqm of warehouse space on a speculative basis. The facility is seeking Breeam-NL "Excellent" certification with gas-free operations, minimal emissions and the installation of solar panels on the roof of each unit.
With its strategic location in the southeast of the Netherlands not far from the German and Belgian borders, the logistics park targets supply chain users along the new Silk Road. Frasers Park Roermond is expected to be completed by the end of October 2021. (sh)
