Roll-out of new port community system
PD Ports, the harbour authority for the River Tees, has introduced a new port community system (PCS). Teesport is part of these efforts.
PD Ports has worked with the Port of Rotterdam to implement the system, which provides users with a single source of information including live shipping movements and weather data. 200 active users have registered in four weeks. So digitalisation continues here as well. (cd)
