Röhlig opens Irish subsidiary
Röhlig Logistics has opened a new subsidiary in Dublin after having acquired a majority stake in its former local agent, Air Ocean Ireland. Following 20 years of collaboration with the logistics provider, Air Ocean Ireland will operate as Röhlig Ireland in future.
Röhlig will be looking to leverage its local network and gain access to transport links between Europe, North America and the UK, which will further support its expansion in the northern European market.
The founder and director of Air Ocean Ireland has previously worked with Röhlig with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region. The company will be renamed in January 2025, after which collaboration and expansion in the Irish market can commence. (mk)
