Rhenus invests in two road freight hubs

The group is adding two new business sites in Germany. In Nuremberg, it is building a completely new almost 17,000 sqm logistics facility with a warehouse, a cargo handling area, and office space.

In Dietzenbach, Rhenus is expanding its existing logistics services to meet the growing demand for warehouse and handling space. The site will be extended and upgraded to store both hazardous goods and products from pharmaceutical companies with special temperature requirements.

Both sites will be equipped with a solar power unit, they will process rainwater and will also be built or converted in line with the building energy act (GEG) 40 norm. The facilities are expected to be completed during the spring of 2024. (ben)
