Rhenus Air & Ocean picks Florian Braun
Florian Braun assumed his position as new operating officer (COO) at logistics specialist Rhenus Air & Ocean on 1 April 2023. Braun succeeds Jan Harnisch, who was promoted to the company’s CEO and had continued his duties as COO in a dual role until a replacement could be found.
Braun brings to Rhenus almost 20 years of experience in the field of international logistics. Following appointments at DHL and DB Schenker, he most recently held an executive position at digital freight forwarder Flexport.
Braun is particularly looking forward to working with a global team at a family business. “I’m delighted to start working for such a dynamic and forward-looking company and make my contribution towards its ongoing success,” the new COO said. (cj)
