Rhenus acquires C+G Logistics
Rhenus is undergoing a period of sustained growth, with its latest acquisition seeing Irish chemical logistics specialist C+G Logistics join the German group. Headquartered in Dublin, the chemical storage and transportation specialist has more than 40 years’ experience in handling raw materials, ingredients and chemicals, furthering the position of the Rhenus Group within the chemical market.
The acquisition enables further expansion of the services Rhenus can offer to its growing customer base across Ireland. The C+G facility also provides full Seveso capabilities with 5,000 sqm of dedicated hazardous goods storage. Patrick Wogan, general manager of C+G, commented on the move: “Joining the Rhenus family is an important step for our business, opening up new service provisions for our client base." (mw)
