Renault Trucks banks on electric trucks
With 54,098 invoiced vehicles in 2019, Renault Trucks maintained its market share in Europe (8.5%) and held its number one position on the French market with a share of 27.9%. On an international level, volumes amounted to 4,933 invoiced trucks, an increase of 10%.
In Turkey, Renault Trucks even achieved a historic result in the over 16 t segment, by growing its market share by 3% to 8.8%.
2020 marks the start of the series production of electric trucks in Renault Trucks’ French plant in Blainville-sur-Orne. The manufacturer intends to invest an additional EUR 150 million in electric mobility over the next four years. (ben)
