Remaining 100% CO2-neutral
Schuon carries out all its transport services within Germany while maintaining a CO2-neutral balance. In 2018, the trucks emitted 16,612.0 t of CO2 according to the tank-to-wheel assessment tool. On the other hand, the company saved 16,773.8 t CO2 in the same period of time by deploying solar energy.
The forwarder therefore compensated all the CO2 emissions of its fleet in Germany for this period. This result has been certified by the German Institute for Sustainability and Economy in Münster. Schuon invests regularly in upgrading its fleet in order to reduce the exhaust emissions of its vehicles. (ben)
